Students Obtaining Success (SOS)

Students Obtaining Success (SOS) is a rehabilitation program for students who have found themselves on academic probation due to poor academic performance. Poor academic performance can be caused by many factors, including health problems and family issues.

In SOS, students meet weekly with an advisor whose sole purpose is to assist them in overcoming obstacles and discuss goals for getting back into good academic standing with the university. Mentors also help students:

  • Develop better strategies
  • Become good note takers
  • Learn which studying style suits them

Students also have the opportunity to make friendships with other students who may be in the program. For more information about SOS or how to enroll, visit their website.
